This project started when I was processing my images from a 4-day road trip through the SouthWest of the USA (California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada). I was intrigued by all the different textures and patterns that time and the elements have chiseled out in the rocks of Valley of Fire. But all being marvelous on their own, they also are more or less monochrome orange or red. I just wondered how those would look like after a session of "body painting". Here is the result.
